The HPT Practice "App" That Doesn't Need Installing
Searching the App Store for NSW hazard perception practice? You don't need a download. Our practice scenarios run in the browser you already have (iPhone, Android, tablet, or computer), with the same tap-when-it's-safe format as the real test.

Why a browser beats an app for HPT practice
- Nothing to install or update. Open the site and you're practicing in seconds, on any device you own.
- The real test is on a touchscreen terminal anyway. Practicing tap-timing in a browser transfers directly. The skill is when you respond, not which icon you launched.
- One purchase, every device. Buy once for $5 and your access and progress follow your email across phone, laptop, and tablet. No app-store accounts, no per-platform repurchase.
- Instant timing feedback. Every response is scored as too early, on time, or too late, which is exactly what the real HPT measures.
What you get
- 32 realistic NSW-style video scenarios: intersections, pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, and speed-change hazards
- The first 5 scenarios completely free, no signup
- Progress tracking so you can see which scenarios still need work
- Mobile-friendly player designed for touch
Want an app icon anyway? Install us to your home screen

Before you book the real test
The official NSW HPT is taken at a Service NSW centre ($58 per attempt from 1 July 2026) and can't be sat from home. Check the HPT FAQ for fees, eligibility, and the 15-month rule, or read how to pass the HPT for test-day strategy.
